Homemade pesto is delicious and not hard to make. Also in other variants than the classic of pine nuts, basil and parmesan cheese it is very appreciated here. You can serve it in many different ways: for example in the pasta or with some good bread. In the picture you see some delicious homemade bread.
Extra supplies needed: a food processor. You can also use a mortar and pestle but I did not use one for this exact recipe. In a mortar and pestle it matters with which ingredient you start for this recipe.
For a bowl of pesto:
– 100g spinach
– 50g sunflower seeds
– 25g nutritional yeast flakes
– 4 cloves garlic
– 4 tablespoons extra vierge olive oil
– black pepper
Mix all ingredients in the food processor short. By mixing it short you keep structure. You can add black pepper according to taste.
