The frozen banana makes this bowl nice cold. If you forgot to freeze the banana you can still make this smoothie only it will be less cold. You can fix this for example partly with cold milk.
For this recipe you need to put a banana in the freezer the night before.
Extra supplies needed: a blender
For 1 smoothie bowl:
– 1 banana
– 1 (blood) orange
– 1 big hand spinach
– 200ml oat milk
– 1 teaspoon spirulina
– 1 teaspoon hazelnut butter
– granola
The night before you put the banana in the freezer without the peel on. If you cut the banana into slices and put it in a tray in the freezer it will blend more easily the next day. Keep some slices out of the freezer to put on your smoothie bowl.
The next day you add the banana, orange, spinach, oat milk, spirulina and hazelnut butter to the blender. You can make the blender very full with the spinach because it will become very small. Mix all this in the blender. Then put the smoothie in a bowl with some banana slices and granola on top.
